On September 30, 2021, the Subcommittee on Consumer Protection and Commerce of the Committee on Energy and Commerce met to discuss college athletes' rights to their name, image, and likeness. We watched this session and, on this episode, we discuss what was covered.

During this meeting, Executive Director Ramogi Huma from the National College Players Association, Mark Emmert President of the NCAA, Linda Livingstone President of Baylor University, Jacquie McWilliams Commissioner of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association, and Cameron March the golfer and app developer from Washington State University provided testimony to the Committee.

We follow the discussion around creating Federal legislation and providing clear guidance to student-athletes.  We give our take on what this means for student-athletes and collegiate programs.
