This episode is a replay from June of 2020. Meet Phil Kelley. Raised in a racist household in the midwest, Phil's life changes drmaticlly when he enlists in the US Army and volunteers to go to Vietnam. This is an amazing 45 minutes that I talked with Phil. I had known him for 20 years, when we talk in 2020, I only knew he was a Vietnam Vet, the rest was my first time hearing it. An amazing story of being raised in a racist family in Illinois and going to Vietnam and then returning to the US and how he was greeted but also how he became a Democratic Socialist.
