When Female impersonator Tick / Mitzi (Hugo Weaving) gets an offer to play a season at his ex-wifes hotel in Alice Springs, he sets out with his two friends, Adam / Felicia (Guy Pearce) and Bernadette (Terence Stamp) on a road trip across the Australian outback in an old school bus effectionaly named Priscilla. Along the way they meet up with hostility, love, homophobia and ping pong balls!
