Tony reveals a letter that Manfred’s attorney sent to the Parole Board in 2022 although Manfried’s hearing isn’t until 2025.
This is not a normal occurrence and you can see that Mr. Satterberg clearly believes that Manfried acted in self defense, and that he has reformed himself and deserves parole. Tony hears about the Cabin for the first time and the fact that Hansen told him where it is. Tony and Al were heading to Alaska for a visit with Manfried when all hell breaks loose. Somehow Hansen finds out that Manfried has been talking to the F.B.I. about him, and the prison puts Manfried in The Hole for his own protection. The visit is cancelled and Manfried asks Tony for more help.
