Christa Fairbrother had been practicing yoga for her back pain for years when she discovered she had lupus erythematosus. It was partially because of her yoga that she was able to manage it so well. She later fell in love with water yoga as it allowed her to continue her practice with less joint stress. She shares how she lives with these diagnoses, how what you do on the mat transfers to the water, and its effects on the parasympathetic nervous system.
