Proverbs 25:28; 29:25
Rev. Joel St. Clair

Throughout the proverbs, the teacher warns about the reality of internal and external forces that lead us astray. Despite these forces, God enters in to provide strength and guidance to follow him faithfully.

Wisdom in the Bible deals with much more than learning facts or remembering information. It is a practice of synthesizing and applying the knowledge of God in our everyday lives. Ultimately, pursuing wisdom is an act of worship, as we gain insight towards righteous living from the True and Living God, who gives us his Spirit of understanding through Jesus.
