Police yet to confirm whether people spotted in York Landing are McLeod and Schmegelsky
Manitoba RCMP say they'll be spending today on the ground in York Landing searching for Kam McLeod and Bryer Schmegelsky.
Cpl Julie Courchaine says they received a tip yesterday the two wanted fugitives had been seen in the remote Manitoba community, but police have yet to confirm it was them.Â
She says mounties are asking the people of York Landing to stay safe while they search the area. They're also asking people not to post online where the police are searching in the community.

Manitoba RCMP received a tip on Sunday, that Kam McLeod and Bryer Schmegelsky had been seen in the remote community of York Landing.
Travis Bighetty is the man who made the sighting, and he spoke to Simi Sara today.

Scores of businesses could close when Langley SkyTrain construction begins: head of Fleetwood BIAÂ
Concern that between 60 and 80 businesses along the Fraser Highway in Surrey from 152nd to 166th Streets could be gone if and when SkyTrain construction begins.
Fleetwood Business Improvement Association Executive Director Dean Barbour says that's his estimate considering where the stations are slated to be located. He's also concerned about what impact construction could have for the end of the line near the Surrey Sport and Leisure Centre.
Right now there's only enough money on the table, 1.6 billion, to get the trains to roughly 166th Street.
