Changes at ICBC are coming in full effect today - and so from now on  there will be a limit of $5,500 on pain and suffering payouts for injuries designated as âminorâ - a move that is designed to save the crown corporation upwards of one  billion dollars a year.
The Trial Lawyers Association of BC is launching a constitutional challenge against the changes, saying it violates basic human rights under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Garneau says that the recording of the phone calls was âtotally inappropriateâ, and ânot an honourable thing to doâ.
