It was 50 years ago that Corky, a killer whale, was captured off the Sunshine Coast and was put into captivity. She now lives at SeaWorld in San Diego. For decades, people have been campaigning for her return to the waters off the B.C. coast.

More than 30,000 people in the Central and Southern Interior remain without power after yesterday's big snow dump.

BC Hydro says heavy snow caused branches and trees to come down on power lines. They say that in some areas, poor road conditions are causing delays for crews trying to get there, and customers can help by keeping their driveways plowed.
