Surrey’s policing transition committee meets again

In Surrey, the Chair of the joint policing transition committee Wally Oppal calls the second meeting of his team 'productive' as works continue to provide information to the province on setting up a Surrey municipal police department.           

Oppal says issues such as recruitment, file continuity, bargaining and pensions were all on the table for discussion along with what he says is one of the more important items, information management technology plan...

Next step he says will be the appointment of a police board.
