Loser:

Police deputy Steven O’Leary in Martin County, Florida

Martin County Sheriff William Snyder says 11 people have been released from the jail based on actions surrounding a fired deputy.

Deputy Steven O'Leary was let go after it was determined that the deputy had submitted evidence in drug cases that turned out not to be illegal drugs.

One man sat inside a Florida jail for six weeks for a crime he didn’t commit. The charge was trafficking heroin - but he actually had laundry detergent with him at the time.

Jon Shainman for NBC affiliate, WPTV, has more on what police are saying.
