One year ago this weekend, a popular hockey coach was murdered in his driveway in Cloverdale.
Paul Bennett was 47 when he was shot and killed on a Saturday afternoon on his cul de sac. The street was alive with kids on bikes enjoying the summer, and adults outside tending to their lawns.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team said Bennett was an innocent victim in a case of mistaken identity. No one has been arrested.
