A new report conducted by former Vancouver Deputy Police Chief Doug LePard says the former sergeant-at-arms at the BC Legislature was dishonest during an investigation into the recent spending scandal.

LePard says Gary Lenz lied in both oral and written submissions to retired Chief Justice, Beverley McLachlin, who was commissioned by the province to look into allegations of overspending. McLachlin cleared Lenz of misconduct and he retired last week.  In a statement, Lenz says he rejects LePard's conclusions and is adamant about his total honesty in his duties at the legislature.
