It's a decision that could impact developers and force them to look at other areas of Surrey to build instead. The Cloverdale Community Association says it won't be supporting any more development projects until infrastructure catches up.

Association President Mike Bola says infrastructure's not keeping up with the growth. In December, Surrey council decided to 'postpone' building two new sheets of ice on the Cloverdale Fairgrounds.
