Is pet insurance a scam?

Some pets may eat you out of house home, and they could also cost a fortune in vet bills.  Host Heather Kelly revisits her interview with Dr. Susan McDonad, Veterinarian from Holladay Veterinary Hospital and talks about the costs associated with owning a pet; from office visits and vaccines to treating cancer.  

She'll also discuss whether pet insurance is a scam or a necessity and where the safe places are to find a new pet.  And what about the price of that pet-food?
