introduce you to Christelle Biiga.

Hi Christelle, we’d love
for you to start by introducing yourself.

My name is Christelle
Biiga, I live in Manhattan Beach, CA and I’m originally from Cameroon, Africa.

Six years ago, I decided
to leave Cameroon, Africa to move to the United States to pursue the American
Dream. I barely spoke English at the time and I had no friends or family here.

My dream turned into a
nightmare when I arrived at LAX and an immigration officer tried to deport me
because he said I was coming to work as a prostitute. I ended up in a detention
center where I spent nine months before a judge finally granted me the right to
stay.

Today, I’m a successful
entrepreneur, a TV host, a Speaker, and a Life Coach. I’m happy to say that I
am living my American Dream.

Can you talk to us a bit
about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back
would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

My journey wasn’t
smooth, to say the least. When I was leaving my country, I didn’t plan to be
arrested and put in detention for nine months. And the truth is that I didn’t
have to spend nine months in jail. I had the opportunity every single day to
sign a deportation paper and go back to my country, to my comfort zone, but I
didn’t. Why? Because I wanted more in life and I wasn’t going to give up on
myself or on my dream.

It wasn’t an easy
journey and in order for me to make it to the finish line and be where I am
today, I had to develop one skill: courage.

Can you tell our readers
more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

I work with female entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, speakers, and coaches who
want to achieve mind-blowing results through courage. My journey has allowed me
to realize the importance of courage for anyone who wants more in life and to
understand that nothing can be achieved without it.

The truth is that if one
wants more in life, wants to achieve great results, wants to be successful,
they have to step out of their comfort zone. They have to try new things. They
have to make different decisions and choices. Magic happens when you have the
courage to step into the unknown. That’s where you will discover your real
strength, your real power, and what you are really capable of.

That’s why I’m on a
mission to activate that powerful skill in my clients through speaking and
coaching, so they can make their dreams a reality and live exciting lives.

I also have a TV show
called Living The Dream that’s available on Roku on my channel Freedom Through
Courage. I interview immigrant women from Africa and the Caribbean who are
living the American Dream as successful entrepreneurs and artists. They share their
journey to inspire others and be a reminder that anyone can achieve the
American Dream if they dare to go for it.
