16. Parenting & Making Choices Heartfully with Christy Keating

Christy Keating spent twenty years as a prosecutor, serving her community. She now serves a larger community of parents as the Founder & CEO of The Heartful Parent. Christy's career transition from litigator to entrepreneur was a thoughtful one and a heartful one. In this episode, she shares about the struggles she faces in working motherhood, why she made her career transition, and her current mission as a parenting coach. She now spends her days helping parents address parenting challenges so that they can experience more love, joy, and connection in their families.

Christy shares her framework for how to respond to parenting challenges when we feel stuck and don’t quite know how to best help our children—from toddlers to teens—mange their big emotions.  She developed the “Parenting Outside The B.O.C.S. Framework” to help you eliminate that stuck feeling and know what to do next. She has provided a graphic for all of us to reference with this framework.
