Michaela is the Founder of the marketing and PR agency, Design and Build UK, and a strong advocate for women’s empowerment in the construction industry.

You may recognise Michaela Wain from the BBC’s television series, The Apprentice where she made it to the final which subsequently paved the way for her media profile and opened the doors to receiving funding for her business.

Also a mother of two and incredibly keen to inspire the next generation, Michaela tells her story firsthand and how she plans to make a difference for women’s rights and gender equality in the construction industry, aiming to achieve 25% women on construction sites and 40% women in construction.
