This is a Truck Talk Tuesday recorded in my truck during a long drive.  Just you and me talking about self defense and firearms in the truck.

Today: Combat Accuracy is a term I like to use for having effects on target.  To me, it needs to be good enough to win the fight.

Combat Accuracy is a term people are picking up to mean, it’s good enough for now, or that means someone can’t shoot so they say I’m combat accurate.  It’s all BS.

You have to set a standard, and then perform to that standard always pushing for faster and better.

But what’s good enough?  That is the standard I think is always changing and under debate.  If you win your gun fight, it was good enough.  If you lost your fight, it was not.  That is the ultimate sign of combat accuracy, or combat effectiveness.

How effective do you have to be to win your gun fight?  I don’t know.  So we all try to set a standard and then improve on the standard as we go.
