Today we will conclude our series called "Fear Not" through a study in Matthew chapter 2. God's plan was under attack and the powers that are at work in our world sought to bring it to an end before it had a chance to begin. Kings from the East, following a star put in the heavens by God, came to worship the King of the Jews. King Herod, having heard this messiah had been born, sought to destroy him. We are tempted to fear earthly powers in our time as well. We need to be reminded that God will win and no earthy power can stop His plan from working to completion. We must not fear the powers on this earth even when they come against the work of God. God protected His plan by protecting his people. God will protect his people today as well. Let's be encouraged to continue to trust God as we end 2021 and prepare to begin a new year.
