Honored is the only word I can think of to describe the opportunity I had to interview the incredible Kára McCullough, Miss USA 2017.    If being Miss USA isn't impressive enough, it is clear why the judges chose her to represent our country for an entire year. Kára is a radiochemist at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, with her bachelor of science in chemistry from South Carolina State University. Kára has been using her love of science and chemistry to start a self-funded community outreach program called “Science Exploration for Kids” (SE4K), which creates interactive activities celebrating math and science to cultivate a passion for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) among children   When I was able to meet with Kára  she was busy wrapping up the last month of her reign as Miss USA 2017, and she graciously agreed to let me pick her brain about the time she has spent as Miss USA, her personal platform and non-profit of SE4K (Science Exploration 4 Kids), as well as her biggest lessons from competing at Miss Universe where she placed in the top 16, and why pageantry has opened up incredible doors of opportunities for this intelligent woman.    Listen in to find out the inspirational stories and efforts of Miss USA 2017, Kára McCullough.    http://se4k.org/ facebook.com/Realkaramccullough/ facebook.com/Realkaramccullough/   This is your one stop shop for style, fashion, health and fitness.
