Earlier this week, one of the members of our private Facebook Community, Mindbody Masters, shared an interview with Wim Hof on the Under the Skin Podcast with Russell Brand. It blew. my. mind.

This sent me on a research mission over the weekend, pouring over the scientific studies that have been done on Wim, and I also began incorporating the three pillars of his method into my daily life.

The three components of the Wim Hof Method (WHM) are as follows:

• Breathing exercises

• Training of mindset/concentration

• Gradual exposure to the cold

I discuss some of the science of this method on the podcast today, and talk about how it could hold some real potential in the treatment of Mindbody symptoms through immune system, endocrine system, and Autonomic Nervous System modulation.
