In today’s episode, Katelyn discusses principles of healing that go against everything we’ve ever conceived as “natural” about finding relief.  She suggests leaning into the pain (whether emotional, physical or mental) and turning inward toward it as a way to bring our bodies back into balance.  She discusses consciously connected breathing, which is a technique offered by Michael Brown in The Presence Process, and she discusses how we can lovingly tend to the pain in a way that we never even considered before.  She also discusses why she believes digging into childhood hurts isn’t entirely necessary when doing this work and why becoming more emotionally aware in this present moment is far more important than trying so hard to find THE trauma that is triggering your pain.
