Shang is the creator of a personal finance blog and instagram channel called @SaveMyCents. Her parents are Chinese immigrants who always taught her the value of saving money and being frugal. She watched them haggle for lower prices and buy used cars to save money for their future. That frugality paid off because hey were later able to help her pay her way to and through Harvard!

Shang shares about her past mistakes with money and her mentality, and she talks about why we can't avoid imposter syndrome but need to focus more on what we "get to" do each day in our lives. She also discusses why borrowing a loan against your 401k may be tempting but it's not savvy.

Shang is not your ordinary personal finance blogger. She and her husband saved aggressively after college to be able to retire early if they wanted to. So far they have purchased a 7-figure home in NYC and are new parents to a baby boy, but they still plan to continue working because they want to be philanthropists.

Shang shares about her biggest regrets when it comes to money and her mindset after college, what it was like going off to Harvard, having Chinese immigrant parents and so much more!
