The Business of Self-Awareness with Ian Grom

In this "Pockets" focused episode, we speak with the co-owner of Box Six Productions, Ian Grom! He stresses the importance of self-awareness and being honest with yourself when it comes to your abilities. Ian shares how his experiences as a freelance musician in California ultimately led him to his passion for composing. This conversation was full of laughs and incredible information!

Ian dropped a lot of knowledge bombs and insight during this episode and we know it’s going to help a lot of people, whether they’re musicians or not!

Ian is currently the front ensemble composer, arranger & designer at Chino Hills High School, Pulse Percussion, POW Percussion, and Box Six. His compositions and arrangements have been played by marching bands and indoor percussion groups all over the country and we think he’s pretty awesome.
