Previously, in one of the episodes from The Mermaid and the Lion podcast, Angel discuss how she had a guy who said yes to everything she would say and it was a turn off for her. Maturity over time helped her to be able to get her through her commitment issues and work towards a healthy marriage with her now husband. Cameron talked with Angel about how he has a problem with commitment due to not wanting to deal with the arguing and some of the work that comes with it, not knowing the outcome but is now thinking that it is time to work harder at becoming better in this area.
