The best leaders of communities are those that engage with others on a humanistic level. Imam Khalid Latif, the first Muslim chaplain of NYU, is a religious leader who is on the front lines of the pandemic in NYC. Our Miftaah scholars ask about his background as a chaplain and about his work in human services, which have inspired many to pursue the same line of work. At the end of our session, we welcome back Br. Ehsaan Tahmid who recites some beautiful nasheeds.
