In this episode of the podcast, we visit with Hari Menon and Diego Tamburini about the intersection of IoT and artificial intelligence. Hari's company, Symphony Industrial AI, provides packaged AI enabled software solutions that optimize equipment and process performance for large industrial customers. These solutions use large volumes of real-time and batch data from equipment and processes in real time and apply AI/ML algorithms to predict failures and anomalies as well as optimize performance.

As CEO, Hari is responsible for product and market strategy for Symphony industrial AI.

Hari was most recently the CEO of a venture-backed Supply Chain SaaS company called Serus which was acquired by E2Open (NASDAQ: EOPN). Hari’s entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding and leading Tumri, a venture financed advertising software company that was acquired by Collective Media as well as co-founding two other software startups, Accordia (acquired by Bristlecone Inc.) and SixthDimension (acquired by Comverge Nasdaq: COMV). 

Prior to his startup experience, Hari spent 10 years in enterprise software and consulting companies including Aspect Development (i2 Technologies), Accenture and Consilium.

Hari holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.S. in industrial engineering and operations research from Oklahoma State University.

Diego Tamburini

Diego Tamburini the Principal Industry Lead for Azure Manufacturing in the Microsoft Industry Experience team, where he focuses on developing technical assets to help manufacturing companies and software developers deliver their manufacturing solutions on Azure, at scale.

He also champions partners who deliver manufacturing solutions using Azure.
