Welcome to our latest episode, "Psychedelics: They're Not the Easy Way."

In this episode, we dive into the common misconception that psychedelics are a quick fix for mental health issues and trauma. We want to make it clear that although psychedelics can be powerful tools for healing, they are not the only solution nor the easy way out.

We often hear stories of people going into a psychedelic experience with high expectations that it will cure them of all their problems, only to find themselves struggling to integrate the experience once they return to their old environments. This can lead to more harm than good, especially if someone's environment is not supportive of their healing journey.

It's essential to consider the set and setting of the environment someone returns to after a psychedelic experience, as well as the need for ongoing support and integration. We share our own experiences as facilitators and educators in the psychedelic space, and how these experiences have led us to create The Condor Approach, a new way of approaching psychedelic-informed coaching.

We believe it's crucial to shift the narrative around psychedelics and move away from the outdated "quick fix" mentality. It's time to recognize that true healing requires ongoing work, support, and a shift in one's environment.
