He spent more than twenty-five years in the newspaper business and today, is an award-winning author of multiple detective stories.
His own series, helmed by protagonist Aristotle Socarides, is a fantastic deep dive, pun intended, into the world of a local Cape Cod private-eye with enough charisma and character to fill eight books and… a possible ninth.
He also co-authored the NUMA Files series with legendary adventure novelist Clive Cussler.
He’s a family man born and raised in New England, and when asked about his family, says, “We have a total of three children and seven granddaughters who are, naturally, the most beautiful and intelligent young ladies on the face of the planet.”
At 81, he’s still writing and in my opinion, as charming as the characters he created.
