Major is from the East side of Detroit talks about as a little boy how he enjoyed reading and writing. In elementry school he won a writing contest that sparked fire to become a self published writter. Now, self-made publishing company. Major served 17 years in prison and had so much to write he decided to write a memoir. Owner of Black bottom bred publishing company he is offer a great service to his community. He tells us about family dynamics. Is it hard to parent behind bars or freshly out. we know first hand how our children feel after us doing a long amount of time away from them. Don’t ever be afraid to talk about your past, it can be a light to another person stuggling with the battles he overcame. Removing the stigma of being a felon is our aim. Many have changed their lives for the better.
