Day 33: Exodus 10-12

Today on Meditating the Word, The plagues continue with Locusts, Darkness and the death of the Firstborn; the Passover and Festival of Unleaveaned Bread are introduced; Pharoah finally lets the children of Israel go.

This is Day 33. Today we are reading Exodus 10-12.

Father God, thank you for your word and thank you for showing us your heart through the word. Just as the children of Israel were protected by the blood of the passover lamb, we are protected by the blood of THE LAMB, Jesus... saved from spiritual death and brought into eternal life through his sacrifice. Father, may we never forget or lose sight of the cost of that sacrifice, of the precious price paid to redeem us from our sins. Thank you, Father, for your unfailing love and mercy. Amen
