Statement of Need
Asthma is one of the most common chronic illnesses in children and in Kentucky approximately 10 - 12% of children have been diagnosed with asthma therefore it is critical for practitioners to understand the latest recommendations in the treatment of patients with asthma. In Dec. 2020, updated treatment guidelines were released for the management of patients with asthma. This program will highlight these updates to the NHLBI asthma treatment guidelines as the standard of care for the treatment of pediatric asthma.
ObjectivesAt the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to:
