π I've been wanting to make this mix for while. I saw Adam Curtis' Hypernormalisation during my annual Christmas Three Days Off, and feverishly jotted down time stamps for bits I wanted to use while Charlotte and Hercules slept in a happy pile on the sofa. I'd been waiting for something specific that was missing from Curtis' film to use to close my take on the story, until Jordan Peterson posted his talk on New Media last week, at which point I had my perfect ending. βοΈ Musically, I used a gang of my favorite vaportrap, cloud rap and downtempo productions, along with some of my own work that exists in that sonic universe. π°οΈ Dedicated to the memory of James Laurence.
