She has run PR at consumer tech companies including Pandora, Trulia and most recently, Opendoor, where she was Head of Local Communications, running the disruptive real estate company's PR and communications in their existing and forthcoming markets across the US. She joined Opendoor in 2017, when the company was in three markets, left when they were in 21, so she launched 17 markets over 18 months and knows a thing or two about local PR.
We discuss why brands should invest in local PR, how to build relationships with local reporters, how to align messaging across different regions, and how PR develops into revenue.
