The older we get, the more we become afraid of change and prefer to live a life of safe routine. However, just because you’re no longer in your 20s or 30s doesn’t mean you can’t find ways to improve your status in life. Being middle-aged doesn’t mean you have to start being content with what you have and hope that these things are enough. Sometimes, all you need to do is to take a well-calculated risk to enact the kind of change that will bring a new kind of spark to your life.

In today’s episode, I share my reflection about the conversation I had with Gerald DuBose and his perspective on youth being wasted on the young. I discuss why being old doesn’t mean risk is no longer an option. I describe some of the steps you can take to adapt to the changing world. I also share my thoughts on the job economy and why entrepreneurship is at an all-time high.

“Entrepreneurship is on the rise - not so much because of ingenuity, but because of necessity.”
