Social media is such a hype at the moment, especially platforms like Instagram and TikTok, everywhere you see people are creating reels and videos following the latest dance trends and somehow a good marketing strategy got caught up in the BS that is social media metrics.

YES social media is a fantastic way to organically grow your database

BUT the most important things to remember are:

You’re better off with 500 followers that are engaged and want to buy and are your target, than 50K that are just following you cause

Don’t waste time creating reels if its not right for your customer and you’re doing it for vanity metrics

A lot of people on social media are consumers who will not engage, so even though only 10 people liked your post, it may have actually reached 50 people 10% of which are watching you waiting until they’re ready to buy – this is especially true on LinkedIn.
