In this episode, we dive into how marketing has changed over the years.

I give you some back story into what marketing looked like when I started and what traditional marketing aspects may still be relevant for your business.

This background in traditional marketing has been a blessing for me because unlike marketers who have only lived through digital times the traditional marketing days gave us marketers a real understanding of the fundamentals of marketing.

What it was like to have to change the way we would track our results.

It also forced us to be incredibly creative.

So, what traditional marketing methods should you continue to implement in your business?

The pull for digital marketing is because it is so cheap and so easy to track your results.

However, if you have the ability and the budget to implement some fun marketing ideas like unique gifts, letterbox drops etc why wouldn’t you try and think outside that box.

If you are going to create promo items, think bigger than a pen!
