Hi friends! In honor of LSU Women's Basketball making it to the Final Four, we wanted to discuss one of the greatest examples of authenticity and branding - Coach Kim Mulkey. Kim Mulkey is a basketball legend, having won multiple national titles as a player and coach. While she was at Baylor for the past 20 or so years of her coaching career, this marks year two at LSU. Kim Mulkey was born and raised in Hammond, Louisiana, right around the corner from our location. Kim has played a crucial role in rallying a supportive community around LSU women's basketball program and is taking the team to the Final Four tournament this Friday. In this episode, we discuss some of her biggest risks, why she resonates so well with her audience, and what we think the future of women's basketball might look like.
