When I started to produce my first videos, I quickly realized that I needed to follow my speech plan, I didn’t want to read on a notebook or anything we could see on the screen.

So I’ve tested tons of techniques.

Using a second smartphone next to the camera, a real teleprompter, paper notes…

Using a teleprompter is convenient but it’s not only a bit costly, but it’s also tons of synchronization between your speech and the text you want to say.

So to me, the best and simplest option is to

Write down bullet points of all the topics you want to cover on a sticky note

Place those sticky notes on your phone but without actually covering the center of the screen and the camera.

Read from the bullet points and develop each point.
