’THE CHARACTER OF GOD: FAITHFULNESS’

The LORD passed in front of Moses, calling out, “Yahweh! The LORD! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.
Exodus 34:6

1. TAKING A DEEP DIVE INTO GOD’S FAITHFULNESS

HEBREW: EMET

2. WHERE DO I FIND THIS TRUTH? THE BIBLE!

The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning!
Lamentations 3:22-23

3. GOD IS FAITHFUL AND TRUSTWORTHY; A ROCK WHO IS CONSISTENT WITH HIS CHARACTER.

The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my Word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.

Isaiah 55:10-11

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.

Matthew 24:35

4. WHAT DOES GOD’S FAITHFULNESS MEAN IN MY LIFE?

For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.
1 Corinthians 1:20
