On this episode of March Forth with Mike Bauman, Mike chats with Keith "Majick" Woggon.

Tragically, Keith passed away from his battle with cancer on December 3rd, 2021 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 10, 1958 and led an interesting life where music was always around.

Growing up with a musical father, Keith eventually picked up the guitar and started playing. Keith's dad also helped spark his interest in film and television. After graduating from Whitmer High School in Toledo, Keith spent some time out in Montana, where he was studying Film & Television at Montana State.

Over the years, Keith would apply his loves for music in film in other avenues of his life. He spent 20 years as a music photographer, having shot live photos of the likes of Aerosmith, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan and Joe Walsh, among others. Additionally, he helped set up the sound on stage for numerous musician friends of his over the years.

In this episode, Keith talks with Mike about how Keith's dad helped spark his interest in music and film, his time in Montana, eventually making his way to Memphis and getting into the local music scene there, his time and friends in Hot Springs, and more.

Note from Mike: Prior to his passing, Keith mentioned the following artists to me, and I encourage you to check out their music: Billy Strings, Valerie June, Opal Agafia & The Sweet Nothings, and Crash Meadows. The book that Keith is mentioned in is called Follow The Money: A Month in the Life of a Ten-Dollar Bill by Steve Boggan.
