Owners Marcy Barbaro and Alex Morin are professional and published authors with experience in editing and mindset coaching.
They both hold degrees in English Literature. Marcy also completed two years of study at Ryerson University School of Journalism and has worked as a managing editor and writer on several trade publications at Rogers Media in the health and pharmacy fields, as well as for consumer magazines. She has also done freelance copy editing and fact-checking on FLARE, Canada’s Fashion magazine. Marcy’s first book, Beautiful Humans, There’s Nothing Wrong With You: Encouragement For the Soul was published by Friesen Press in December of 2022.
Alex Morin writes professionally for publications such as Marketing Edge, PM promo marketing, and others. Alex is the writer and creator of the Almost Enlightened and the Promonoise podcasts. Both key players are also uniquely qualified to lead effective and inspiring training for their clients. Marcy has a certification in Teaching and Training Adults (TATA) and has led several mindset coaching cohorts. Alex has coached mindset and sales to many different corporations and has twenty-plus years as an executive and equity shareholder in a multi-national and award-winning corporation.
