Previous Episode: Is Spain a good place to retire?
Italy: - I have visited Italy many times: Rome, Milan, Turin, Tuscany, Florence, Naples, Capri, etc. The people generally have been warm and friendly and the food, of course, is wonderful. I have been to Rome but sadly not Venice. It is very unlikely that I could afford to retire to either place. My best option would be to live in a smaller town that is connected by a train station or buses to a larger city. As usual in my review, we will look at healthcare, crime, cost of living, weather, infrastructure, and culture.
