Special guest time! This week we are joined by Tom Home, founder of Blokes and all round gent.

Tom talks us through how his mental health deteriorated following getting dropped from the uni rugby team and how, on reflection, his mental state wasn’t the best when he was younger. He also shares the overwhelming feeling he felt by being prescribed everything at once and deciding to settle on conversations. Tom’s a big believer of normalising talking about what’s going on in your mind. He also discusses how Blokes was born from the 2020 Lockdown. Find more information here - https://www.blokes.life/

Huggy’s playlist gets another honourable mention and there is some fantastic advice shared for those who are just starting uni. There’s also a shoutout for Northumbria university for the mental health support they offer - go on lads! We urge you to share this episode with anyone you know that is about to go into university.

And we finish with our favourite guest question: What is good mental health? A great answer from Tom and a fantastic guest to our podcast.
