This week's episode features the founder of Cabanas Consulting, Katie Cabanas. Katie is a branding expert with domestic and international experience. From AT&T and Coca-Cola to the University of Miami and A-ROD CORP., Katie loves to develop ways to connect people to brands and causes to create lasting value. What's most exciting is Katie takes key strategies and tactics learned through big brand experience and translates them to support everyday entrepreneurs -- many of them women and mothers.

Prior to Cabanas Consulting, Katie served as the Vice President of Operations for A-ROD CORP. where she was responsible for strategic planning and implementation of all branding, marketing and philanthropy. There, Katie worked closely with the New York Yankees and Major League Baseball on various youth and philanthropic initiatives. Before joining A-ROD CORP, Katie raised major and principal gifts at the University of Miami. Katie helped launch the $1.6 billion Momentum campaign, oversaw the fundraising efforts of the undergraduate academic schools and colleges while expanding relationships with individual and large corporate donors.
