Welcome to one of the most adventurous interviews yet on the Making Meaning Podcast!

Meet ice climber, guide, and all-around adventurer Ryan McGuire. Ryan is by far one of the most adventurous people I've ever met. He has:

- Competed as a CrossFit Athlete
- Finished FOUR obstacle course races like the Tough Mudder
- Become a professional outdoor guide for hiking, ice climbing, and more.
- Climbed Cotopaxi and other renowned mountains around the world.
- Conquered brutal alpine expeditions on Mt. Ranier, Mt. Baker, and beyond.

Besides being an epic adventurer, Ryan also gives back to his community:

- He's a leading member of his local Search-and-Rescue team, made up entirely of volunteers.
- He's working on a non-profit to teach the next generation about ice climbing, hiking, and mountaineering expeditions.
