Russ is a leadership coach, a health & wellness coach and facilitator of organizational
development who works with leaders to find their own trail to reach their potential by
using mindfulness, the ability to assess situations and behaviors objectively,
compassion, humor, and authentic support. Russ works to develop leadership
awareness for the betterment of themselves, their communities, and institutions. He
has strengthened and encouraged hundreds of clients in understanding their patterns,
potential, strengths and weaknesses, thus providing a richer understanding of
themselves and the culture and relations they are surrounded by.

He is also currently an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University’s Institute for
Transformation Leadership Health and Wellness coaching Certificate as well as Bocconi
University in the MaSEM program (Master in Sustainability &, Energy Management)
teaching a course on Social Entrepreneurship. He is also the founder & CEO of The
Watts Group focusing on leadership coaching and Founding Partner at Solutions for
Online Integrated Learning and a managing partner and Chief Learning Officer of iLEAP
and the Global Leadership Academy.

He has a background in Education and Organizational Development, and an Executive
Master’s Degree in Leadership (M.L.) from the Georgetown University McDonough
School of Business. He is a graduate from the Executive Leadership Coach training from
Georgetown University and holds a PCC level of certification from the International
Coach Federation (ICF), Health and Wellness certified coach (NBC-HWC) and is a Master
Integral Facilitator.

Some of his other passions include mountaineering, river kayaking, ultra-running, rock
climbing, cooking, and photography that have allowed him to stand on Denali,
Kilimanjaro, and climb Half Dome and Lost Arrow Spire in Yosemite. Most recently, he
ran 277km across the Alps over 8 days in the Trans Alpine Run.
