Episode 2: Our Mental Health_A Journey To Better Self With Dr. Toni Johnson Liggins

 In this episode of the podcast, Dr. Toni Johnson Liggins, psychiatrist,  describes what a healthy mental state looks like, how to identify depression, defines anxiety, and shares with us how to get help in order to chart a path to our better selves. Dr. Liggins graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed residency training in psychiatry at the Cleveland Clinic. She practiced psychiatry for over 25 years in several clinical settings including inpatient psychiatric units and outpatient clinics caring for patients in both urban and rural communities in Cleveland, Ohio and Greenville, North Carolina. In April 2020 Dr. Liggins joined the Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, Ohio as The Director of Medical Education overseeing medical education for training programs in all medical specialties. She is married to Rev. Timothy Liggins and is the proud mother of 4 children, 2 bonus children, and a grandson born in 2020.
