In 2008 Southern Surgical took a new direction of recommitment to the highest level of customer service by adding a full time employee dedicated to patients and quality of care provided to them. Laura B. Smith is the  Bariatric Customer Care Representative for Southern Surgical and Associates. Laura not only gives patients wonderful customer care, but is also a patient of Southern Surgical.  She had gastric banding in August 2007. In August 2013, she had to have her band converted to a sleeve. She is available as a resource for current and prospective patients about the journey she has already taken.  She can be reached at (252) 295 9898. Laura is an avid swimmer, morning show radio host, The Morning Rush 107.9, enjoys traveling, and loves to spend time with her family.  Her passion is people and she is committed to helping others during their weight loss journey.
